Marco Bacigalupiwas born in Genoa in 1952. He has alwaysconsidered himselfa wood hobbyist, hisfirst attempts with briar began in 1965 with one of his father's pipes. In the mid-70s I met acraftsmanwhoknewgive him greatadvice. In the 80s the first plaques and the first self-taught experiments.
In 1989 in Genoa he was awarded at the pipemaker championship which took place in parallel with the international slow smoking trophy.In 2007 he left the city to live in a small village, Gavi, surrounded by nature. In 2012 he began his full-time business as a pipemaker. His predisposition is to create pipes that are pleasant to smoke, to hold in the hand and to look at, interpreting classic and non-classical shapes. The mouthpieces are completely handmade, made from German ebonite bar. The pipes are numbered progressively and by year of production. Lastly, the briar is first choice Tuscan briar. Every year it produces 100/150 pipes.
