Salvatore “Totò” Amorelli has been producinghandcrafted pipessince 1979 in Caltanissetta andLubinskihas been responsible for their distribution in Europe since 1984.
He has been indicated by enthusiasts as one of the three most historically creative Italian artisans.
He actually created new shapes and particular variations of the barrel and mouthpiece in his Busbee, Fishtail, Frac, Lyra and Nail creations. Furthermore, using laser technology, he recently created the “Penna San Michele” and various textured finishes.
He works exclusively with Sicilian briar, the extraction of which he personally supervises at the Fiumedinisi site, the boiling and the maturing. At the end of all the processes, it evaluates the final outcome and classifies it by marking it from one to five stars. His signature is a gold bar, placed between the barrel and mouthpiece, which further embellishes each specimen.
